Lee A Snowberger is Vice President of Aviation for Alvarez & Associates.  He is responsible for the management of complex Federal Programs and applying best business practices with state-of-the-art methodologies and decision tools.  Under his direction, clients are provided with cost effective options and solution recommendations to achieve maximum returns on investment and program performance, within parameters of cost, schedule, and quality assurance. Previously, Snowberger was with Conwal Inc. where he managed support of multiple federal aviation services and safety programs.  At Martin Marietta he was Program Manager and developer of system engineering planning, strategies, and solutions for the modernization and safety of the U.S. and European air traffic control systems.  He was Director, Plans & Preparedness for the Defense Nuclear Agency responsible for all aspects of nuclear weapons safety, security, accident prevention, and response planning.  Snowberger served for 24 years in a various command and staff positions in the USAF as Command Pilot and Instructor/Evaluator.  He holds a BA, MBA and various military education certifications.

 

Kirk Hanson
Vice President-IT Solutions

Kirk Hanson is Executive Vice President and General Manager of the IT SolutionsSEWP Division of Alvarez & Associates.  In this role he is responsible for the NASA SEWP lV Contract awarded to A&A in 2007. Most recently, he has grown his division from a ground floor start up to a over $90MM profitable business unit in under 4 years.  A visionary, dynamic and results-driven executive, he has over 20 years of proven experience including roles as COO, CIO, and CFO for various high-tech companies.  Hanson spent over five years with a technology company “fixing” broken and divergent departments, ultimately running marketing, IT, operations, legal and investor relations.  Hanson was VP of Sales and Operations for SANZ.  helping to build the company during his tenure to 150 employees, a presence in 12 cities, and over $70MM in annual revenue.  Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer for Value Technology, Inc., which was purchased by SANZ.  He is a Charter Mfounding member of TiE-Rockies, Denver Chapter and a member of Vistage International. Hanson has a BA in Political Science and Communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
